Wesley Eugene Fulfer went to be with the Lord on Dec. 26, 2014, at his home. He ws born March 24, 1944, in Commerce, the son of the late Malcolm Wesley Fulfer and Frances Ruth Evelyn Jackson. Wsley was a winder for Greenville Transformer before retiring. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion.
Wesley was warm, good hearted, generous and never held a grudge. He had the memory of an elephant and the ability to make you laugh. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great-grand grandfather.
His survivors include his wife, Jana Black Fulfer; two daghters Jeanie Putman(Kevin) and Jenifer Hyatt ((Eric); two stepsons, Shawn Hejke (Yesika) and Ethan Hejke; 12 grandchildren, Kyle, Kaysi, Mattie, and Colten Putman, Hailey, Heidie, and Hadden Moreland, Tommy, Ryan, Lucas, Nicholas, and Christian Hejke; one great-grandson, Kylen Putman; his mother, Francis Ruth Evelyn Jackson Fulfer; a sister, Judy Ellis (David); and a niece Laura Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Wesle Fulfer, and a great grandson, Karsen Putman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home.
