COMMERCE — Nancy Mosley Talley, 72, of Commerce passed away May 13, 2013, in Paris, Texas.
Nancy Talley was born Aug. 28, 1940, in Waco to Earl Hale and Dorothy Balcom Mosley. Nancy graduated from Brownwood High School in 1958. She was a nursing home administrator in various cities from 1970-2006. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Commerce. She was also a member of the Ladies Golf Association Sand Hills Country Club.
She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and entertaining friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and spouses Bill Marchbank and Bill “Bubbs” Talley.
Survivors are her daughter, Tamar Marchbank Smith (Kyle) of Commerce; son Gordon Marchbank (Lisa) of Ringgold; a sister, Dottie McCarley (Bill) of Seguin; brother Robert Earl Mosley of Houston; brother-in-law Don Talley (Pat) of Commerce; sisters-in-law Densel Crumby of Bonham, Carolyn Philpot of Bonham, Joyce Isaacs of Commerce, and Kay Ogelsby (Joe) of Yukon, Okla.; grandchildren Chelsea Marchbank (Baylee Walker) (Grant Walker) of Dallas, Stoney Blaine Mitchell of Tomball, Benn May of Nacogdoches and Sydnee Smith of Commerce; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. She was also survived by her faithful companion, “Patches.”
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, in the chapel of Commerce Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rosemound Cemetery. A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be after the burial at Sand Hills Golf & Country Club.
