Wilma Mozelle Gentry was born December 4, 1925 in Hunt County to W.L. and Ellen Gentry.  She passed away January 25, 2021 in Greenville, TX.

She is survived by her son Danny McFadden and wife Deborah of Rowlett; her daughter Cheryl McFadden Beaty and husband Russell of Edmond, OK; and daughter-in-law Jenny McFadden of Whitehouse.

Grandchildren Jill Spitzmiller and Brian; Danny McFadden and wife Kendra; Heath McFadden and wife Kim; Raeane Lira and husband Rene; Tiffany Lewis and husband Mike; Jennifer Carlile and husband Jason; Tabitha Hunt and husband Will; and Steele Beaty and wife Emily.

Great grandchildren Tyler Spitzmiller and wife Madison; Taylor Spitzmiller; Jaelynn, Jake, and Jolie Carlile; Cody McFadden; Madison and Aidan McFadden; Raegan and Ryan Lira; Ian, Lily, and Feruza Lewis; Harper and Dylan Beaty.

Great-great grandchildren Jace and Lane Spitzmiller.

Preceded in death – her parents; husband Lenord D. McFadden; son, Jerry G. McFadden; sisters Imogene Bell and Verta Clark; husband Dr. Cecil Hyatt.

She and Lenord owned Mac’s Café in Commerce for many years.  When they sold it, she went back to full time nursing working both at a clinic and hospital.  After Lenord’s death she married Cecil Hyatt in 1984 and they had 13 wonderful years in California and Commerce.  She was a wonderful pastor’s wife serving alongside Cecil.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Commerce and served as a Den Mother with her sons, G.A. Director, served as a nurse and a cook on mission trips, taught Children’s Church and Sunday School, and sold Mary Kay.  She worked at the church until her health no longer allowed her to do so,.

A family memorial service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at Commerce Funeral Home Chapel.  Grandsons Brian, Danny, Heath, Rene, Jason, Will and Steele will serve as pallbearers.

If you chose to do so, the family has requested that donations be made to First Baptist Church, Children’s Fund, 1401 Washington St., Commerce, TX 75428.
