Maria Carrillo-Rincon

Maria Carrillo-Rincon passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 7, 1973, and lived in Garland, TX for the last 20 years.

A viewing/visitation will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Commerce Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.

Maria attended high school in Matehuala San Luis Potosi Mexico. After she relocated to the United States, she worked in recreational parks maintenance for 8 years.

She loved her family, evidenced by the many photographs she took of them. Maria also enjoyed posting selfies on Facebook, which her family will cherish as they remember her legacy. She enjoyed dining and dancing and she did so as often as possible.

Those left to cherish Maria’s memories are: daughters, Soraya Landeros and Alondra Contreras; son, Moises Landeros; significant other, Reyes Contreras; dad, Pablo Carrillo; brothers, Antonio Carrillo and wife, Maria Carmen Barreto, and Juan Antonio Carrillo; and sisters, Juana Carrillo and Letty Carrillo. Maria is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and 9 nephews.

Those preceding Maria in death is her oldest brother, Juan Carrillo and mother, OFelia Carrillo.

Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Carrillo, Carlos Zuniga, Angel Abundes, Alejandro Rincon, Moises Landeros, Reyes Contreras, and Jesus Abundes.
