Lynda Jim Jandro

Lynda Jim Jandro was welcomed into Heaven on April 9, 2025. Lynda was born on September 26, 1942 to James Alfred Fanning and Thelma Cleo (Thomason) Fanning. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Ladonia Cemetery, with Bro. Dillon Moore officiating.

Lynda graduated from high school in Irving, Texas with the class of 1961. She went on to attend Draughan’s Business College for 2 years. Lynda worked for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company for many years. Upon retirement, she worked part-time at the Wal-Mart in Commerce, Texas.

Lynda’s home for about 15 years was Pecan Gap, Texas, and she loved attending First Baptist Church of Pecan Gap anytime she could. She also enjoyed finding unique treasures and collecting antiques.

Left to cherish Lynda’s memory are her daughter, Caren Jandro; son, Jeff Jandro (Brenda); grandson, Ben Jandro; great granddaughter, Caitie Belle Wilson; brother, Larry Fanning (Cheryl); niece, Hattie Maittre (Cesar); and nephew, Ferris Fanning, along with numerous friends that she met along the way.

Preceding Lynda in death are her parents, James and Thelma Fanning; brother, Jerry Alfred Fanning; and granddaughter, Jessica Jandro.
