Kay Lowery, 65, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in Campbell, Texas. She was born on August 4, 1956 in Greenville, Texas to Bob and Vernie Rogers. She was a lifelong resident of Hunt County, growing up in Lone Oak and Quinlan before meeting her husband Michael Jim Lowery in 1975 and settling in Campbell, Texas.

Kay was the City Secretary for the City of Campbell for 22 years before retiring in February 2022. Kay loved to read, shop, and go to the casino. Kay was big on family and spent a lot of time making memories with all of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Jim Lowery, her parents Bob and Vernie Rogers, brothers Ray Rogers and Bobby Rogers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her two sons Chris Lowery, Michael Lowery (Trisha), her significant other Ronnie King, a sister Mae Lathrop, brothers Allen Rogers, David Rogers (Patty), Jeff Norris (Brenda). Kay has 7 grandchildren Taylor, Tara, Samantha, Heagen, Jace, Lily, and Micha. Kay had a large extended family of many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kay was a loving Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed by many.

A funeral service will be held at Commerce Funeral Home on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
