Daniel David Duncan, Jr., 56, passed away after a brief struggle with COVID. He was born on August 7, 1965, in Greenville, Texas, the son of Daniel David Duncan, Sr. and Janet Chapin Duncan. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
David graduated from Commerce High School with the class of 1983. He then attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, earning his BBA degree in 1987. During his time at the university, he was involved with the Sigma Chi fraternity. During his career, he spent time working in the insurance and retail sales industries.
David is survived by his daughters, Abbie Duncan and Katie Duncan; his parents, Danny and Janet Duncan; his sister, Jennifer Pierce and husband, Jeff; and nephew, Jack Pierce and niece, Jenna Pierce as well as a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Eva Duncan and Jack and Lois Chapin.
