Funeral services for Chester Leon Fuller, age 86, of Commerce, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Commerce Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday September 10, 2012 at Commerce Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic ceremony will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Denison. Chester peacefully passed away at his home Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was born on April 23, 1926, in Leonard, Texas, the son of J.B. Fuller and Ophelia St. John Fuller. He is survived by his wife Virginia. They were married October 31, 1948 in Lead, South Dakota. Mr. Fuller was a veteran after serving in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired as a service man at Lone Star Gas Company, in addition, he dedicated over 20 years of honorable service with Commerce Volunteer Fire Department. He was also an active member of the Masonic Lodge for 55 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda Fuller of Plano, TX, Betty Hall and husband Bill of Commerce TX, Susan Miller and husband Glen of Allen, TX, and Bryan Fuller and wife Grace of Wills Point, TX. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Reginald Fuller and wife Nancy of Copper Canyon, TX, his sisters, Mary Rencher of Sherman TX, Jackie Moore of Aurora, CO, LaNell Green of Quinlan, TX, grandchildren, Tara Lovell, Lee Harris, Nikki Fuller, Stephanie Weber, Katie Miller, Raelynn Fowler, Crissie, Fowler, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Fuller. Memorials may be made to Boles Children's Home.
