Anna Lee Talley Crouch, age 88, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Sanctuary at Bear Lake in Apopka, Florida, on September 4, 2024. She is survived by her daughter Rana Smith of Sorrento, Florida and son, Greg Crouch of Austin, Texas. Her son, Daniel Rayburn Crouch, preceded her in death in 1997. Anna is survived by 7 grandchildren including Megan Kramer, Chandler Crouch, Raeli Miller, Rianna Sanchez, Riah Smith, Austin Crouch and Macie Crouch, and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Anna was dearly loved by her surviving siblings, Don Talley, Joyce Isaacs, Midge Crumby, Carolyn Thompson, and Kay Oglesby.
Anna was born and raised in Commerce, Texas. She was a 1955 graduate of Commerce High School. She was married to Jerry Rayburn Crouch for 59 years before his passing in 2012. Anna and Jerry spent the most of their years together in Euless, Texas. In the later years of marriage, they moved to Austin, Texas close to Greg. Anna then spent the remainder of her life in Florida with Rana.
Anna was kind, cordial, giving, hardworking, highly intelligent, witty and incredibly funny. Her pride in her children and grandchildren was undeniable. She was a loyal friend to those who were close to her.
Anna had exceptional creativity which shined through in her career in interior design. She ran her own Interior Designer businesses, Anna Talley Design and Crouch Interiors for more than 20 years. She was invited to speak on color selection for interior design to the Senior Design Architecture class at then East Texas State Commerce. Anna had many prominent interior design clients including Micky Mantle, the Hall of Fame baseball player.
She loved reading and watching old movies but also enjoyed chatting about current events. Antiques and vintage dolls were favored hobbies.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the gift of knowing her.
